Michelle Green

I am a PhD candidate at Walden University, and a graduate of The Johns Hopkins Masters Program in Writing.
I received a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Maryland with a minor in radio TV, and film.

I’ve taught several writing courses at The George Washington University and for five years was an Adjunct Professor of English at Prince George’s Community College. I am an award-winning author of A Strong Right Arm: The Story of Mamie “Peanut” Johnson and the Willie Pearl historical fiction series, which is based on the life of my mother.

An Air Force Brat, I live in Upper Marlboro, MD, where I enjoy visits from my two phenomenal sons, Bryan, an independent filmmaker and Evan, who is a music producer and vocalist.
